The stone was rolled away,

This is how our faith was made

There is nothing that’s impossible with Him.

Angels once proclaimed His birth

And then while He walked the Earth

He taught us how to love and how to pray.

Oh, the stone was rolled away,

And the Spirit’s here to stay.

He gave unending mercy, hope, and grace.

It is finished, it is done,

And His Resurrection won

A place for us for all eternity.

Yes, the stone was rolled away.

It’s His gift to you today.

His sacrifice meant for me and you,

Take your burdens and your stains.

Lay them down, nothing remains

But to follow Him and share this joyous news.
